This film was shot in the ’40s with no digital FX or modern equipment yet still it had some awesome effects and shots. For example, the signature dance number “Singing’ In The Rain was shot “on set” indoors and used fake rain. Because of the lighting, the director did not think the rain would be visible enough so they added tons of milk to the water so the rain drops could be seen . What other effects or filming techniques were used. Give me one or 2 (use your Chapter 3 as a reference.
